The BlueBay Emerging Market Unconstrained Bond Fund is an actively managed total return fund that dynamically manages Emerging Market (EM) exposures through the market cycle. The fund is actively managed as a portfolio of high conviction positions with flexibility on interest-rate, currency and credit exposures. The fund is designed to provide upside capture of EM asset class returns and strong downside protection.

The BlueBay Emerging Market Unconstrained Bond strategy is the largest EMD fund available in UCITS. The strategy provides an unconstrained, benchmark-agnostic exposure to the full spectrum of EM fixed income, and seeks to capitalise on the dispersion and asymmetry across the EM universe using bottom-up fundamental analysis informed by macroeconomic themes. The portfolio is actively managed with a flexible allocation between sovereign hard currency, sovereign local currency and corporate debt based on strategic and relative value analysis within countries and sectors. The final portfolio is typically allocated across three core alpha engines: spread duration Sovereign/Corporate (-3/+6 years); Interest rate duration (-4/+7 years) and Currency (+/-70%).
