Investment Objective
The fund aims to achieve a total return comprised of long-term capital growth and income by investing in bonds and similar debt investments. The fund has a performance aim of cash (3M EURIBOR) + 3% per annum before fees. This is not a guarantee, may not be achieved and a capital loss may occur.

The BNY Mellon Absolute Return Bond Fund aims to generate returns through a diversified portfolio of fixed income instruments. The investment process aims to blend the expertise of the specialist fixed income teams at Insight with a top down asset allocation framework. The key to portfolio construction is the allocation of ‘units of risk’ across five key sources of return, leading to a highly diversified portfolio of fixed income instruments. One of the principle attractions of the fund is that it has no inherent duration bias, and all things being equal we would expect it to outperform many of its competitors in an
environment of rising interest rates.
