Investment Objective
The Odey European Focus Absolute Return Fund is a directional European equity long/short strategy which aims to provide positive absolute returns independent of market conditions over the medium to long term. The fund is a concentrated strategy with between 20-60 positions in large and medium capitalisation companies in developed Europe. The fund targets alpha generation from both long and short stock selection.

A dynamic long/short equity fund focused on large and medium capitalisation companies in developed Europe managed using a bottom-up, value-driven investment process. The fund employs a concentrated and often contrarian strategy with typically 20-60 positions. The investment universe comprises of c.700 European large/mid-cap companies with a market capitalisation of >$1bn. The top 10 positions generally account for 50% of NAV. Encouragingly, performance has improved materially this year which could mark a turnaround for the fund.
